ASCM Orange County instruction is delivered by a number of highly experienced industry professionals with deep knowledge in ASCM educational offerings. All instructors must be certified and participate in ASCM’s Instructor Development Program.
Nick Testa

In 2006 Nick served as President and Chairman of APICS now, The Association for Operations Management ASCM,. He has also chaired their Annual International Conference, been President and VP of Education of the Orange County Chapter of ASCM, and served in a wide variety of international, national, and local positions. Nick currently serves as the Vice President of education for the Orange County Chapter of ASCM.
Nick has decades of experience in technical and managerial positions in industry serving as vice president of operations, and other senior positions. Since 1995 he has been a consultant and consulting Business Unit Manager, Vice President, and President in consulting firms.
Nick has taught at college and postgraduate level in technical and management subjects. He holds a BS in Physics from the University of Santa Clara, an MBA from the University of Southern California, ASCM’s CPIM-F, CSCP, CLTD, and CIRM, a CSUF Certificate in Production and Inventory Control, and a Jonah from the Goldratt Institute.
Sean Ghotbi

Sean is a project/program management professional with over twenty years of diverse experience in analyzing, planning, executing, managing, and directing portfolios of corporate projects and business initiatives including, but not limited to, capital equipment manufacturing, acquisition and deployment, supply chain management, enterprise management and financial solution implementation (ERP/CRM), engineering and production processes improvement, business management applications integration, Project Management Office (PMO) implementation and operation, as well as information systems development and operation, predominantly in the manufacturing and service sectors.
Cliff Peebles

Cliff has been teaching CPIM courses since 2007, and was named the Orange County Instructor of the year for 2015.
A graduate of Northern Kentucky University, with a degree in business management with over twenty years of experience, Cliff has served as the plant manager of a medical device maker, operations manager for a plastics film converter and distributor, and a materials manager for a manufacturer serving military customers.
Mark LeBrun

CPIM
Mark LeBrun has over two decades of diverse experience spanning various facets of the supply chain domain. Presently serving as a Master Scheduler at RBC Bearings, Mark has demonstrated proficiency across inventory control, procurement, production coordination, client relationship management, and oversight of shipping and receiving operations within both aerospace and industrial manufacturing sectors. His tenure has been marked by the successful implementation of numerous process enhancements and optimizations, leveraging his expertise in industry best practices and comprehensive familiarity with the ASCM body of knowledge.
John Brewer
CPIM, CSCP, CLTD, CSSBB, CSQP, CPSM, MBA and Associate Instructor

Former President, VP member, and current Board member of ASCM-Orange County.
John has served as a Manufacturing Engineering Manager, Supply Chain Director, Quality Director, Division Controller, and Manufacturing Site Manager. John served as a Juran Quality Trainer for 11 years at Texas Instruments. He is currently working in aerospace manufacturing and has worked in electronics and scientific instruments manufacturing.
John holds a BS in Biology from Texas Christian University and a Masters in Science Education from Columbus State University. He graduated from the Army Officer Engineering School and is Airborne and Ranger qualified.
